Jack Morton Worldwide is one of the world’s foremost event organisation companies and have produced events as diverse as the Opening Ceremony for the Athens Olympics, the Ryder Cup Matches Opening and Closing Ceremonies and London’s New Years Eve Fireworks Spectacular.
Motiv8 and Jack Morton have also worked together over the years on a range of shows and events in the UK and when they were asked to organise a motivational event for Bacardi/Martini they turned to us for assistance.
‘Being Bacardi’ is a new initiative for Bacardi/Martini brand in the UK. It focuses on the rich heritage of the brand and how it can continue to thrive in the 21st century using the concept of ‘PACT Values’:
• Productivity • Accountability • Creativity • Teamwork
The message was delivered to 500 employees at their manufacturing plant in Southampton.
Jack Morton designed a creative concept that was to be delivered by Bacardi employees who were chosen to facilitate this event. They came armed with lots of experience and enthusiasm – Motiv8 were tasked to arm them with the necessary presentation and facilitation skills.
Motiv8’s Steve Lang delivered a facilitation skills workshop which gave the Bacardi/Martini team all the skills to do the job required. Steve also ran pilot versions of the four workshops, each designed to highlight one of the ‘PACT’ values. The team then spent a week preparing before delivering the live event with Motiv8 on hand to provide the necessary guidance and feedback.
The team did a fantastic job on the live events.
